Luster & Co. Diamonds is dedicated to providing exquisite diamond jewellery and an exceptional shopping experience. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services and your purchase of products from our website and from our Vancouver studio.

2. Product Descriptions
We strive to provide accurate descriptions of our products but do not warrant that the descriptions are error-free, complete, or current. Colours, sizes, and details may vary slightly from the images shown on the website.
Diamonds and gemstones are natural or laboratory-grown materials, and small variations in colour, inclusion pattern, and finish are inherent to them. Where a stone is independently certified by the GIA or IGI, the grading report supplied with it is the authoritative description of that stone.
3. Pricing and Taxes
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars and are subject to change without notice. Special promotions may apply, and discounts must be applied at checkout.
Applicable taxes are added at checkout and shown on your invoice — currently GST at 5% and, for orders subject to it, PST at 7%. If a product is listed at a materially incorrect price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than supply at that price.
4. Order Acceptance
An order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order. Luster & Co. reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or product descriptions, and suspected fraud.
5. Payment Terms
Payment must be made in full prior to the shipment of any jewellery. We accept various forms of payment, including credit and debit cards and other secure payment methods. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.
6. Custom and Bespoke Commissions
Bespoke work begins once the design and specification are agreed in writing and any deposit has been paid. Because these pieces are made to your specification, they are excluded from our exchange policy. Deposits on bespoke commissions are non-refundable once production has started.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Luster & Co. offers shipping options that are described during the checkout process. All shipments are fully insured and require an adult signature on delivery. While we strive to meet estimated delivery times, we are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including customs processing.

8. Returns and Exchanges
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. The following terms apply to every purchase and also appear on your invoice:
- You may exchange jewellery within 15 days of delivery for an item of equal or greater value.
- This policy excludes custom designs, and jewellery that has been engraved or altered or modified beyond sizing.
- Items must be in their original condition and contain all original packaging, instructions and paperwork, including the original GIA or IGI certificate and intact security tags.

9. Warranty
Luster & Co. products are accompanied by a Lifetime Extended Warranty that covers manufacturing defects. The following terms apply and also appear on your invoice:
- The Lifetime Extended Warranty does not include normal wear and tear, misuse, or accidents, and does not cover damage caused by unauthorised repairs.
- We provide complimentary replacement of any lost side stones within the first year of purchase.

10. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights on the website are the property of Luster & Co. or our licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from our website without prior written consent.
11. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
12. Limitation of Liability
Luster & Co. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. Our maximum liability in any case shall not exceed the amount paid for the product.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — including your rights under Canadian consumer protection law, such as the British Columbia Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act and the Sale of Goods Act.
13. Modifications to Terms
Luster & Co. reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The version in effect when you place an order is the version that governs that order.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts located in the Province of British Columbia, without affecting any right you have to bring a claim in your local jurisdiction where consumer law permits.
