Fancy Color Lab-Grown Diamond Jewelry
Fancy color diamonds are diamonds with a distinct body color, such as blue, pink, yellow or champagne, rather than the colorless stones used in most engagement rings. Our Rare Color Treasures collection brings together rings and bands set with fancy color lab-grown diamonds in those shades. Every price is shown in Canadian dollars, and a custom design can be built around a color you love.
How fancy color diamonds are described
Color is the point of a fancy color diamond, so it is described by hue and by intensity. A name such as Fancy Intense Blue tells you the hue, blue, and how strong it is.
Intensity grades run from light tones to deep, saturated ones. Fancy Light, Fancy, Fancy Intense and Fancy Vivid are common steps, with Fancy Intense stronger than Fancy and softer than Fancy Vivid.
Color reads differently in daylight, in indoor light and in different settings, so look at the stone in person or on a video call if you can. A white gold or platinum setting tends to let the color speak, while yellow gold warms a yellow or champagne stone.
