Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds with the same physical, chemical and optical properties as natural diamonds, and they are not cubic zirconia or moissanite. The difference is origin: lab-grown diamonds are grown in a controlled laboratory environment instead of being mined.

Lab-grown and natural diamonds are the same material and look the same. They differ in origin, price and resale: lab-grown diamonds are grown in a lab, natural diamonds are mined, and lab-grown diamonds typically cost less than natural diamonds of the same size and quality. Resale values vary and are usually lower than the purchase price, so we suggest buying a diamond to wear and enjoy rather than as an investment. Every diamond in our ready-to-wear pieces is lab-grown, and natural diamonds are available on request.

Yes. Every diamond comes with an IGI or GIA grading report. Ask us for the report that applies to the piece you are interested in.

Yes. We design custom engagement rings and other custom jewelry, starting with a personalized consultation. Most custom engagement rings take three to five weeks from your first consultation to final delivery. The process runs in four stages: an initial consultation to agree on design and diamond, a 3D CAD render for your approval, hand-crafting and stone setting by our bench jewellers, and a final quality check. If you are working to a specific date, tell us early and we will confirm whether a faster turnaround is possible. Natural diamonds are available on request for custom designs.

Every price on our website is in Canadian dollars, and each product page shows the price for that piece. The price depends on the diamond's carat weight and shape, the metal and the setting. For a custom design, we review diamond options, budget and design direction with you in a private consultation, and bespoke work begins once the design and specification are agreed in writing. Your final total and every other detail of your order are confirmed at checkout, before you pay.

Yes. Every piece carries a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. If we confirm a covered defect, we repair the piece at no charge, and we replace a lost side stone free of charge in the first year. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage or misuse, and it is not insurance. The full terms are on our warranty page.

We offer a 15-day exchange policy. You can exchange a piece for another of equal or greater value within 15 days of delivery, as long as it is unworn, in its original packaging with the security tags attached, and comes with its paperwork and grading report. Custom designs, engraved items and pierced earrings cannot be exchanged unless they are faulty. Our returns and exchanges policy has the full details.

Yes. We offer one complimentary resize per ring within 30 days of you receiving it, and later resizes are charged at our standard workshop rate. Some designs, such as full eternity bands, cannot be safely resized, and we will tell you before you buy if that applies to your piece. To find your size, measure with a ring sizer or compare against a ring that already fits the same finger.

We recommend professional cleaning every 6-12 months to maintain your jewelry's brilliance and check for any potential issues. You can also clean your jewelry at home using mild soap and warm water, but avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic cleaners unless recommended by a professional.

Our studio is at 609 W Hastings St, Vancouver, BC V6B 4W4, in downtown Vancouver near Waterfront Station, and we are open Monday to Sunday, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend booking a private appointment so a diamond specialist can set aside dedicated time for you.
